In the final Analysis Minimum 60% marks for UR / OBC /EWS / and 50% for SC / ST and PwBD Candidates.
Shortlisting | Selection Process |
In Summary, the selection process may comprise of various shortlisting and selection tools like Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Task / Group Discussion, Skill Test, Personal Interview etc. which would be administered depending upon the position requirement.
- All the candidates claiming to fulfil requisite eligibility criteria may be called for Computer Based Test (CBT). In conclusion, Computer Based Test will consist of objective questions and will comprise of two parts. (i). General Aptitude consisting of English Language, Quotative Aptitude Test and Intellectual Potential Test (Logical reasoning and Data Interpretation), (ii). Technical / Professional Knowledge comprising of questions related to Qualifying degree / Educational background required for the applied position.
- Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the applicable selection process stages to considered for further selection process.

Placement and Posting: However, Posting / Assignment can be in any SBU / Department of Marketing Division of the Corporation at any place in the country. Currently, openings are in POL supply locations, LPG plants, Pipelines, Aviation Service Facilities (ASFs), Lube Plants etc. In spite of the services thereafter will be transferable to any SBU and department / Divisions as per the requirements of the Corporation. Whereas these positions involve working in shift duties. But the Selected candidates may also be posted / assigned to any of the subsidiaries / Joint Ventures or any department of Government of India.

General Instructions in brief
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply, and all computations of age / relevant experience requirement / qualifications shall be done with respect to the last date of receipt of online application i.e., 14th February 2025. And the Queries must be emailed keeping the subject of the mail formatted as “position name” – Application Number at careeers@hpcl.in.
And all the qualifications should be full time regular course/s from AICTE approved UGC recognized University and Deemed University and State board. The courses offered by Autonomous Institutions should be equivalent courses approved and are recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
